Me and my world
“I am a retired General Medical Practitioner living in London UK. I love to experience different architectures, sceneries and cultures in this world. I love travelling and always have a desire to go to places where most tourists do not go. My desire is to see as many number of countries as possible. i used to trawl through travel sites and images that are attractive. Plan my visits with the help from the forums in Tripadvisor. I never had a holiday until 2000, except for visiting relatives.
As my trips to different countries started increasing, my friends used to call me as ” A youth going round the world”, based on a famous MGR film “Ulagam Sutrum Valipan”. To me Ulagam or world meant all seven continents. I planned to achieve it and during our 48th Anniversary of us joining the medical school, I was presented with a plaque in commemoration of me achieving ” going round the world.”
Due to Covid restrictions I could not travel for two years. As age advances, mobility problems are creeping in. I consider it to be a God given boon to have time and means to travel and I hope God will help me to achieve my objective.
