French Polynesia

French Polynesia is an overseas territory of France, comprises more than 100 islands in the South Pacific. It is a tropical paradise. Tahiti is the biggest. The capital, Papeete, is on Tahiti. Moorea and Bora Bora are popular islands for tourists. Bora Bora is a favorite honeymoon and anniversary destination.  The islands are lined with vivid turquoise lagoons. They boast green mountain valleys, colourful flowers and white beaches. The water is crystal clear and one can walk in the lagoons   surrounding the resorts are mostly 4-5 feet deep.
